SCROLL DOWN to see more information and plans on the Nimbus 5. It is shown, to give you a idea of the workings of hydroponics. This is pretty simple to construct. Buy some Rubbermaid bins, pvc cutters, small diameter pvc, 90 degree elbows, tubing, pumps, baskets, grow rocks and rockwool.
I like to use 2 bins. Use an 18 gallon for the resevoir and outer bin. Then use the next size smaller for the inner and false bottom to hold the roots up from getting into the pump. (Note the crude holes cut in it.) This is a proto type.
I pefer not to glue the pvc together. I just push it together, so I can take it apart later to clean with a brush. For additional info and photos click here.
